    A person living with dementia and their loved ones face many challenges, but the most important is home safety and accessibility. The assessment for someone with dementia has added focus including fire safety, having the proper locks and proper lighting. Accessibility needs to become more prevalent as the disease progresses and anticipate future modifications needs.

  • Asthma

    Asthma is one of the leading drivers of pediatric hospitalizations, and many things in the home environment are triggers for an asthma attack. Cigarette smoke, mold, animal dander, dust and pests are some of the primary triggers. Modifications may be different for this population and may include carpet removal, pest control, ventilation and HVAC filters, as well as repair of holes in the wall and services to remediate mold.

    As our population ages, mobility conditions become the number one cause of falls. Changes in balance, strength and coordination require assessment for both safety and accessibility conditions. This creates the need for ramps, bathroom modifications, door widening to accommodate a wheelchair, and other changes, allowing individuals to remain in their home. The need for knowledgeable contractors to do this work is exploding and provides great opportunity to help those who need it the most.

If you are a licensed contractor or vendor that supplies services needed to provide home modifications, are licensed and insured based on state requirements and want to help the aging and disabled, you may consider joining our network. Many contractors have extra training on aging in place, and want to utilize this knowledge.
Log onto Rosariumhealth.com and access the contractor application. Complete the application and upload all the required documents. Once you pass the credentialing process, you will receive a contract to sign. After this, you will go through the onboarding process that covers contractual requirements, and how to utilize our platform through the bid process.
Rosarium has a team that supports network contractors. You will be provided the contact information so you will always have someone available.
You will utilize the Rosarium platform to accept the referral and upload a bid. Rosarium will review the requirements for documenting a bid. Once the bid is received, it takes time before you receive approval: Rosarium must gather required documents such as landlord consent if the member rents their home, and doctor’s orders. This documentation, along with your bid and pictures, is submitted to the payer for approval. Once approved, you receive notification of the approved services and can contact the member for a date to get started.
When a job has been completed and you submit your invoice, Rosarium outreaches to the member to ensure they are satisfied. Once this has been completed the invoice is submitted for payment. Rosarium strives to pay an invoice as soon as possible, understanding the contractor needs their money.
